Sync lyrics to a song
Sync your lyrics to your song
Paste your lyrics, upload the song and every line is placed on the timing of the singing. Check it against the audio, fix anything that is off and export an MP4.
Free to try. No subscription — pay only when you export. From $1.49 per video.
Templates for synced lyrics
Your lyrics sit on top of any template — over a photo, a video or a visualizer.
How to sync lyrics to a song
- 1
Upload your song
An MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG or FLAC file up to 10 minutes long, or a video file — we use its sound.
- 2
Paste your lyrics
Paste up to 10,000 characters, one line per subtitle. Section labels such as [Chorus] and blank lines are dropped, and long lines are split.
- 3
Check the timing and export
Play the video, fix any word or timing in the lyrics editor, then pay once for the MP4 when it looks right.
What the lyric sync does
Your words, not a transcript
The text you paste is the text on screen, so spelling, line breaks and punctuation stay as you wrote them.
Placed on what is sung
The lyrics are matched to the words heard in the song, so each line appears when it is sung.
Cleaned up as it goes
Section labels such as [Chorus] and blank lines are dropped, and long lines are split to fit the screen.
Every timing is editable
If a line is early or late, move it in the lyrics editor. Lines that may need a second look are flagged.
Many languages and scripts
Lyrics in 100 languages can be timed, and right-to-left scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew are drawn correctly.
Karaoke highlights and motion
Light up each word as it is sung and choose how lines appear and disappear.

How do I sync lyrics to a song?
Upload the song, paste your lyrics and the lines are placed on the timing of the singing. Then play it back, correct anything that is off and export the video.
Does it still transcribe the song?
Yes. To find where each word is sung, a transcription of the vocals still runs, and it uses your free lyrics time (10 minutes). Your pasted text is what appears on screen.
What if a line is out of time?
Open the lyrics editor and move the word or line. Lines that the timing was unsure about are flagged. Heavy effects or a loud mix make timing harder.
What format should the lyrics be in?
Plain text, one line per subtitle, up to 10,000 characters. Section labels such as [Chorus] and blank lines are dropped, and long lines are split.
Is syncing lyrics free?
Syncing and previewing is free with a free account; the preview carries a PREVIEW watermark. Each export is a one-time payment from $1.49 with no watermark, and every paid export resets your lyrics time to the full 10 minutes.
